I can't stop. Every-time I say I won't do anymore Masters of the Universe artwork, I end up doing more He-Man shit. I was going to say that THIS will be my last but I am already in the works for another one.
Beastman was my first of many He-Man toys and it was a pleasure paying homage to a little plastic action figure.
This is a little old. If you haven't seen this I think it is really funny.

So, I had to get away from the He-Man paintings. I filled an entire wall in our house full of He-Man artwork (my girlfriend is just thrilled).
I hated Star Trek up until about 10 years ago. But now I have watched every episode of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" five times over or more.
By the time I finished this I couldn't help myself but think that I need to do more He-Man artwork. Beastman portrait coming soon.
Until that glorious unveiling... here it is, the NCC-1701-D.

Evil-Lyn and Skeletor
This was the painting that sealed my fate in black velvet. I realized how much I love the velvet and dislike working on canvas.
It is also the last of my He-man artwork... for now.

Castle Grayskull on Black Velvet
This is the piece that really encapsulates the entire series. I wanted to do He-Man figures based on the toys and not the cartoons or illustrations. The great Earl Norem use to paint Hordak with blue skin whereas the toy has grey skin. They changed Evil-Lyns skin color from yellow (on the toy) to causation in the cartoon. I wanted to do a true portrait of a toy but not a figure.

Watch this.
Sorceress
Originally I didn't want to do any "Good Guys" from He-Man but, I couldn't resist. Behold... the most powerful woman in Eternia. Please excuse the terrible photography.
Hordak Painting
I always loved how Hordak looked. I could spend a few more hours on this but, it already consumed so much time I just called it quits. I got so into all of this He-Man shit I actually bought a Hordak cartoon cell.
He-Man Takes Control
I don't know what happened but, I got obsessed with "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" for the second time in my life. As a child I wanted to draw a He-Man figure more than anything. Twenty-five years later I finally achieved my dream. How many people can say that?
This was the first of many...
